Tithing is our foundation of giving
Tithing is a biblical principle. God calls us to give the first 10% of our income back to Him. We’ve seen God provide abundantly in our church, and we know He will provide abundantly for you and your family when you put Him first in your finances. Tithing is an act of worship that reflects our gratitude, trust and surrender to the God who has given us 100%.
Donations made to Blue Oaks Church are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law and are processed in U.S. dollars. Blue Oaks Church is a U.S. nonprofit, tax-exempt charitable organization (tax identification number 37-1663533) under Section 501(c)(3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code.
Our Funds

Honor the Lord…
…with your wealth, with the first fruits of all of your crops; then your barns will filled to overflowing and your vats will brim over with new wine. ~ Proverbs 3: 9, 10
Blue Oaks Church has established the following Funds:
General Fund:
Makes possible the day-to-day ministries and services of the church, including our weekend services.
Building Fund:
Provides for the acquisition of land, buildings and significant facility-related asset purchases and/or debt retirement.
Special Needs Ministry Fund:
Supports people with special needs and their families (e.g. by hosting an annual prom night for people with special needs).
Compassion Fund:
Supports our Compassion Ministry and partner organizations.
Benevolence Fund:
Provides help to those in financial hardship in our community.
Scholarship Fund:

In the event that a program, project, or giving purpose becomes overfunded, your gift will be applied where needed most.
Accountability

We want to avoid…
…any criticism of the way we administer this liberal gift. For we are taking pains to do what is right, not only in the eyes of the Lord but also in the eyes of others.
~ 2 Corinthians 8:20-21 (TNIV)
